In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining drone systems that meet the highest standards of performance and safety. Key Responsibilities

• Design and Development:
  • Create advanced UAV systems, focusing on hardware, software, and communication protocols.
  • Develop and test prototypes, integrating sensors, payloads, and custom components.
• Software Engineering:
  • Design and optimize flight control algorithms, navigation systems, and autonomous operation features.
  • Write, test, and debug embedded software and firmware for drone platforms.
• System Integration:
  • Integrate hardware and software components into seamless drone systems.
  • Ensure compatibility and robust functionality across various systems.
• Testing and Maintenance:
  • Conduct comprehensive flight tests to evaluate performance, reliability, and stability.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues during development and deployment.
  • Perform maintenance and software updates for deployed systems.
• Compliance and Safety:
  • Ensure adherence to aviation regulations and industry safety standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Collaboration:
  • Partner with mechanical engineers, software developers, and project managers to achieve technical and business goals.
  • Communicate technical progress and challenges to stakeholders effectively.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• Demonstrated experience in drone design, development, and operation.
• Hands-on experience with UAV hardware and software systems.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
• Strong understanding of flight dynamics, control systems, and navigation algorithms.
• Experience with CAD tools, PCB design, and/or 3D modeling software.
• Knowledge of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and communication protocols (e.g., GPS, RF, Wi-Fi).

Soft Skills:

• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple projects.
